Announcement:
CSI will be offering its official Internship Program to qualified candidates, in the field of Public Relations and Marketing, effective January 2012. In coordination with various candidates from ASIA and Denmark, we aim to spread the wings of the Western training, throughout the world.

Marge H. Ordiales, Vice President of CSI Professionals, Inc.

For CSI, our New Year’s resolution is not only for our own good, but for the public. CSI’s objective is to continue its public service to educate and help more immigrant hopefuls in order to achieve their American Dream in finding sponsoring companies and to live lawfully in the U.S. Another goal is to make the public become more aware about the advantages and disadvantages of applying for H1B now than later.

While there is no confirmation as to how many or what selection process or for how long the H1B Visa Cap will be open, it is encouraged that interested applicants file for their H1B immediately to attain one of the 65,000 visa numbers available. For the past years, it was through a lottery or random selection process. Filing for an H1B, like any other types of visa is risky. Now that the U.S. is still in economic recession and everything is unpredictable, we do not know how the government, through the immigration will process this visa for this year. Filing for H1B petitions opens on April 1, and employment commences on October 1. Therefore, to be qualified for H1B, you must have legal status until October of 2012. Potential petitioners may already prepare to file for their H1B petitions on April 1 since trends, as mentioned, show that the quota can be closed in just a few days after opening.

To know more about these advantages and disadvantages in addition to your available visa options, you may want to attend our seminar on January 27, 2012 from 1:30 PM until 4:30 PM. The venue is at 100 N. Brand Blvd Glendale, CA 91203.

Guest Speakers:

1. Marge H. Ordiales, Vice President of CSI Professionals – to know more about our current job openings and how we can help them find a sponsoring company

2. Attorney Flank from Nelson & Associates – our retained lawyer will discuss about your available visa options. He will also discuss about the current changes in immigration.

3. Mr. Paul Martinez, a Sr. Management and Training Analyst of City of Los Angeles – will discuss about job interview tips and conduct mock interview.

4. Testimonials from our current approved H1B to share her journey in achieving American Dream.

This is your chance to join us and learn more about the most recent and important issues on employment and immigration; and also improve your job interview skills. You may also bring a copy of your resume for an initial assessment. For further details and to reserve seats, please call our office at 213-487-5059.

Since the year of 2012 is a year of a Water Dragon which defines “The Dragon is a reminder everyone has dreams and that the time to pursue them is now.” Act now; join our seminar before it becomes too late. Let CSI help you to achieve your dream in the U.S.

CSI to host a Job & Sponsorship Workshop entitled: “Leaving 2011 for a better 2012”

The year 2011 has been a good year for CSI. CSI was given opportunities to reach out to even more audiences by: hosting a seminar at the San Francisco Philippine Consulate; being one of the guest speakers at the University of the West, and attending job fairs at prestigious schools such as the Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Woodbury University. This month, CSI is collaborating with Career College Consultants (CCC) in preparing students for their careers after college. Watch out for CSI & CCC’s booth which will soon be established at the Eagle Rock Plaza Mall.

Meanwhile, Thanksgiving is a holiday to express gratitude to God, family, and friends for all the blessings of material possessions and relationships. This is the tradition of giving thanks for bounty gifts that we continuously receive, and CSI also considers it as the time to reflect and give back to the community. After all of CSI’s successful employment and immigration seminars, workshops and fundraising events this year, we at CSI has not forgotten to give back and would like to thank everyone who participated, contributed, and supported our events for our clients and the community.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving Celebration, CSI is hosting another U.S. Employment and Immigration for its approved 2011 clients and for the concerned public.

The seminar: “Leaving 2011 for a better 2012″ on December 2, 2011 from 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM will be an open discussion with our Vice President, Marge Ordiales, and our various affiliates/law offices: Nelson and Associates, Law Offices of Mary Lyn T. Sanga and Strassburg, Gilmore and Wei. They will educate immigrant hopefuls about their available options in applying for working visas and permanent based sponsorship’s; and advise them on how to land a job, fast. Live testimonials from our recent successful and ‘fast’ placements and approved Green Card holders will also be there to share their experience and journey in reaching their American Dream; and A Job interview Workshop will be headed by Mr. Paul Martinez (a Sr. Management and Training Analyst for more than 1000 employees in Los Angeles). Moreover, since H-1B applications for the FY 2012-2013 will open starting April 2012, CSI strongly suggests through this seminar that as early as now, YOU need to prepare for it. H1B is one of the many employment visa categories that CSI promotes through its legal counsel, and CSI will STILL be guiding you from start to finish. Contact us for seat reservations and a free assessment now.

This is your chance to join us and learn more about the most recent and important issues on employment and immigration; and also improve your job interview skills. You may also bring a copy of your resume for an initial assessment. For further details and to reserve seats, please call our office at 213-487-5059.

Again, in the tradition of giving thanks for shared bounty, we would like to take this “GOLDEN” opportunity to thank you all for your continuous support and trust in the 16 years that we have been serving the public in the fields of employment and immigration.

“Leaving 2011 for a better 2012”: A CSI Professionals, Inc.
Job & Sponsorship Workshop for H1B FY 2012-2013

‘Tis the season to be.. ready! Are you ready to end 2011, and plan for better endeavors in 2012? CSI will show you how to learn all the essentials, and to use it wisely for a better 2012.

CSI always prepares its existing and potential clients (for their job and sponsorship processes) through free seminars; and this year, CSI was given different opportunities to reach out to even more audiences by: hosting a seminar at the San Francisco Philippine Consulate; being one of the guest speakers at the University of the West, and attending job fairs at prestigious schools such as the Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Woodbury University. This month, CSI is collaborating with Career College Consultants (CCC) in preparing students for their careers after college. Watch out for CSI & CCC’s booth which will soon be established at the Eagle Rock Plaza Mall.

For the year-end, CSI is hosting a thanksgiving celebration for its approved 2011 clients, and a mini-seminar on “U.S. Employment & Immigration” for its public.

Meanwhile, CSI also encourages everyone to look forward to a better new year. 2012 is the year of the Dragon, and it symbolizes success and happiness. People born in this year are described to be innovative, brave, self-assured and achievers; and they are also imaginative people who are able to take new paths with a radical approach.

Just as the Dragon is bound to be successful because of its traits, and since ’tis the season to be jolly, it is also the time (or may just be the right time) to prepare early for your dreams of 2012. CSI will make you realize, re-analyze and re-charge your dreams so you can get “there”.

Through CSI’s proven expertise and with you being inspired and motivated by (the year of) the Dragon, you can remain positive and work harder to achieve better results, thus, a better life.

Let go of the past (things that bring you down or are that are just not helping at all). It will be up to you to make your next year successful, happy and epic. It will be up to you to decide, to act and to be IT. With the help of CSI who creates jobs for you, you are sure to always have someone who will (as its tagline assures its public), “be with you all the way.”

When 3’s not a crowd, but something to be Wowed
Experts join forces in Teaching and Training Immigrant Hopefuls

People say that 2 heads are better than 1; what’s even better is when more heads get together to work on a common & rewarding purpose.

Witnessing this powerful tandem last July 15, 2011, the room full of eager participants benefited from one of CSI’s free Employment & Immigration Seminars, as practical preparations and solutions to U.S. career and sponsorship dilemmas were shared by Ms. Marge Ordiales of CSI Professionals, Atty. Mary Sanga of MTS Law, and Mr. Paul Martinez, a Sr. Management and Training Analyst for more than

1000 employees in the city of Los Angeles.

Through this informative and proactive seminar, immigrant hopefuls got the chance to explore their available options in applying for

working visas and permanent based sponsorships; and received advice on how to land a job, fast.

CSI’s Vice President, Marge Ordiales, announced job opportunities through CSI and the realities in working towards the American Dream. After this, Atty. Sanga educated the attendees on various working visa categories through employment petition.

To add to this already influential combination, Mr. Paul Martinez joined in to conduct a free workshop on how to land a job for immediate working visa sponsorship. He also assisted in doing a mock interview with the attendees to further enhance their interview skills.

Aside from the highly participated interview skills workshop, the attendees were proactive and very eager in the open forum and consultation segments.

Live testimonials and impromptu speeches from current marketing clients followed, as they shared their experience and very effective placement & sponsorship, through CSI. They signed up with CSI during the 1st and 2nd week of July and within the same week, got offers for employment and H1b. Now, all of them are moving forward with H1b applications with their employers.

After this very inspiring session, a raffle and icebreaker game were carried out, where 2 attendees won a CSI eco-friendly tote bag + goodies from MTS.

In as much as it is a joy to watch people learn and value things that you share, it is more rewarding to have had inquirers that they take their first step towards their American Dream, sign up, and now attending job interviews.

3 influential people may not be enough to create a full & immediate impact in educating all of the concerned public on job sponsorship and career placement, although a few BUT good number will play a great part in continuing what was started in promoting proper and suitable paths for our public, in the fields of U.S. employment and immigration.

The next seminars are scheduled on August 26 and September 10, 2011with different agendas that will cater to the different needs and classifications of our immigrant hopefuls. On these events, CSI will continue its objective to educate our concerned public on the most recent and important issues on employment and immigration; and also improve your job interview skills. You may also bring a copy of your resume for an initial assessment. For further details and to reserve seats, please call our office at 213-487-5059.

When you think about summer, one thing that comes to your mind is vacation. Summer vacation is the busiest time for travel agencies. A lot of people try to plan their year to spend summer vacation in some resort to enjoy the sun and sea. But not all of us will do the same. Just like our IMMIGRANT HOPEFULS, most of them spend their summer striving to find an employment and working visa to achieve their American Dream.

As CSI Professionals Inc ANTICIPATES the beginning of summer, we will continue our objective of providing service to OUR CLIENTELE. Our services will sponsor another Free Employment and Immigration Summer Session on June 3, 2011, Friday at the Glendale Office 100 North Brand Blvd. 6th floor, Glendale California, 91203 to awaken the concerned public with current issues and changes in US employment and immigration.

This time, the seminar will be on a casual spring & summer setting. There will be fun activities,A job interview workshop and an informative session in terms of employment and working visa and permanent based application.

The discussion on the current job opportunities and the realities involved in achieving THE American Dream will be facilitated by CSI’s Vice President, Ms. Marge Ordiales. The immigration session will be presented by one of our expert legal counsels, Nelson and Associates, who will provide the public a better understanding and approach to various working visa categories and permanent residency through employment petition.

Special guests and sponsors from Primerica and Wells Fargo will share their programs on financing and personal banking, to help our attendees start and sustain practical American living. Primerica, one of the largest financial marketing firms in North America, will also provide a fun activity such as raffle tickeTs during the event. Another guest speaker IS one of our former clients who recently received her working visa approval. SHE will share her experience to our IMMIGRANT HOPEFULS.

Aside from giving free information on US employment and immigration, CSI would like to extend our service by providing interview skills workshop and an introductory session on computer software to help our new comers in today’s workforce. CSI’s staff will facilitate a free tutorial workshop on Excel and QuickBooks.

CSI Professionals, Inc. Seminars presents: H1B FY 2011-2012: Count me In

H1B Season has started! USCIS opened its doors to new H1B applications last April 1, 2011, marking the beginning of the H1B season for FY 2012.

CSI Professionals, Inc. has been prepping the public for this important period, and we will continue to do so until there is still time for YOU to get YOUR OWN H1B WORKING VISA. Yes, we’re on a roll and still giving our all, in spreading vital information and preparedness advice for H1B FY 2012.

Last March 25, 2011, CSI seminars (March edition) was re-joined by Nelson & Associates, one of our expert legal counsels; who brought to the public a more in-depth understanding and approach to working visa applications for new, current and future cases. CSI in turn, being the expert in employment and career placements, discussed through its very own, Ms. Marge Ordiales, how you can start your life, career and future with the help of CSI’s tested and professional service and assistance.

That particular seminar entitled, “The Most Sought After H1B Visa: Do you know what it is? Can you apply for it?” was very well attended. With so many people who wanted to receive news and education about H1B visas and immigrant and non-immigrant visas, CSI had to divide the audience into two groups, to accommodate all the immigrant hopefuls.

CSI invited other guest speakers: representatives from Primerica, Wells Fargo and various international schools—to help our attendees prepare for their life in America. Primerica is the largest financial services marketing firm in North America. It’s representative, Cristina Abog, imparted their services and shared the secret on how to become debt free; While Ila Fragada from Wells Fargo imparted how they can help our overseas workers to open a bank account. She also promoted the company’s program that assists overseas workers with their finances and debts; and gave tips on how to save money while working. During the break, their good office provided snacks from one of our sponsors, Panera Bread Café. Vanessa Karam, an International Student Adviser from University of the West, gave their school information and course offerings, as an alternative solution or route for our candidates.

On a more significant note, a lecture on H1-B and H1B visa application preparedness, care of Nelson and Associates (A Professional Law Corporation), was delivered by Attorney Franklin Nelson, himself. Aside from educating the attendees on non-immigrant visas, he talked about H1B job titles being the “specialty occupation jobs”. He also discussed the trend on H1B Cap Closing dates, all of which should have been seriously considered by the attendees in deciding and taking the first step in employment-based visa application through H1B or other relevant working visas, for that matter.

An open forum followed the lecture. Conducted by Atty. Nelson and Ms. Marge Ordiales, the audience’s respective questions on immigration, working visas and employment were answered, with more emphasis on the timely H1B application and the current job openings one can apply for, through CSI. A live testimonial was given by a recently approved H1B applicant, to inspire the audience.

IF YOU MISSED THAT OPPORTUNITY, another enhanced FREE SEMINAR will be offered to the public, on April 29. The “H1B FY 2011-2012: Count me In” seminar will be joined by a new guest speaker, Mr. Paul Martinez, who is a Sr. Management & Training Analyst for more than 1000 employees in the city of Los Angeles. He will be conducting a free job interview workshop to teach our concerned public how to land a job, fast, for their immediate working visa sponsorship. Ms. Marge Ordiales will be talking about employment in the U.S.; and Atty. Franklin Nelson will discuss about U.S. immigration and employment-based visa applications and preparedness. Our friends from Wells Fargo and Primerica will still be with us, as they offer their services to help our overseas workers start and sustain practical American living.

H1b visa availability ends fast with uncertain closing times. BE PREPARED. Anticipate and go for that job and working visa that you are qualified for and will benefit from. Don’t get left behind again. Attend our seminar and you will know what you have been missing in terms of assistance and opportunity. Seats are limited and reserved through tel.no. 213-487-5059.

This coming 2011, CSI Professionals Inc. will continue its objective of providing service to the concerned public.

To start the New Year, our agency will sponsor FREE seminars, this time in San Francisco, CA on Jan.19-21, 2011; and in Las Vegas, NV on Feb.12-13, 2011, with the aim of targeting more and greater job opportunities for job seekers.

In addition, with our extensive database of candidates and employers, powerful public relations, “personalized marketing” and marketing strategies, we will continue to expedite more job placements.

We will reinforce utilizing our agency’s “search and match” policy which has been proven to understand candidates’ and employers’ needs, thus allowing a custom-match for the most qualified candidates needed by prospective client companies.

The agency’s personal career counseling branch sees to it that job seekers will not be sent to disreputable companies or will not have to fear being harassed with unfair working conditions. As always, visa assistance concerning H1-B, H3 and Labor Certifications needed for work authorization and permanent residency will be processed for qualified applicants, and proper guidance will be given to each case.

Meanwhile, after all of CSI’s successful employment and immigration seminars, workshops and fundraising events this year, we at CSI would like to thank everyone who participated, contributed and supported our events for our clients and community.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our sponsors including Ms. Elaine Palanqui from Panera Bread Café and Ms. Melissa Enriquez Photography and Design (for being the caterer and personal photographer during our events) our guest speakers, affiliates and legal counsels, who have taken part in the success of our company in the past 15 years of our service.

As we approach the coming of 2011, CSI will continue to serve the public better by providing free monthly seminars wherein job interview skills workshops will be offered to our marketing clients, for them to deliver more impressive job interviews, give better performance and most importantly, get faster placements. CSI will also maintain our personal career counseling to the public to discuss clients’ cases and visa options.

With such joy and hope, we can say that CSI is inspired to continue another 15 years (and more!) of serving the public in the fields of employment and immigration.

We hope to see you on Jan. 19-21, 2011 (San Francisco, CA) and on Feb. 12-13, 2011 (Las Vegas, NV). It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the current and important issues on immigration and employment, and at the same time, enhance your job interview skills.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and for CSI’s Vice-President, this is an issue that is very close to her heart. Thus, it became a need to include this topic in CSI’s October seminar.

Last October 27, a diverse group of new inquiries comprised this seminar’s attendees, holding B1/B2 (tourist), H1B (for transfer), E2 and J1 visas. There were even green card holders looking for more job opportunities related to their professions, since most people who are already in this status resort to taking caregiving positions to sustain their families and even extended families in the Philippines.

Working visa options, Immigration updates and the Dream act were explained to the audience, to cater to the different concerns that they or other concerned publics may have.

CSI’s Vice-President discussed the history and hope given by the candidates during the recent Philippine elections on people staying in the country because of available opportunities which should be considered instead of those in foreign countries, and that going abroad should just be an option, not a necessity or out of desperation. CSI’s role is not to pull out the best from our home county and place them in various positions, but to give these applicants opportunities here in the USA, for their and their family’s benefit while still carrying Filipino moral values which sets us apart from others. Idealism in a foreign land and learned lessons from fellowmen from the same situations were also shared to the audience, which also introduced CSI’s related projects on social responsibility from 2006 up to the present, through an audio-visual presentation. CSI has been involved in helping the less fortunate or the sick both in the Philippines and the U.S., keeping in mind that with more material blessings as compared to others, we do not take them for granted, instead, we share them to those in need. How fortunate we are, that most of us can still wake up everyday with food and shelter, while others, even if they have means, are stuck with the sad truth about their lives ending due to illnesses or diseases.

As for the Breast Cancer Awareness segment, CSI was honored to having been joined by a guest speaker from the American Cancer Society. Maria Cheney has been a volunteer since she retired from her nursing director position. She is active even at 75. She commuted all the way from West Hills to Glendale just to impart with us her knowledge on the general information and advocacy on Breast Cancer. With her wisdom and standpoint, she took the stage to talk to our audience and captured our hearts. Flyers and brochures with information and projects about breast cancer were handed out for additional material.

On the other hand, CSI’s Time to Rethink PINK Totebag and Cupcake sale in support of the American Cancer Society’s cause was a huge sensation! Patrons were not hesitant to share little $2 or $3 amounts to support our fundraising. Some were even victims of lay-offs or working visa status problems, but still had big hearts to share what they had for a noble cause.

An open forum was arranged toward the end of the function, and the usual individual consultations between our Vice-President/CSI staff and our clients were carried afterwards to discuss their cases and applications.

Indeed, CSI strives to cater to many major (if not all, in one event), common issues surrounding our clientele and Fil-Am community. Our public is sure to expect more from us, in bringing up and discussing current and important issues on Immigration and Employment in our monthly seminars and events. Watch out for our upcoming major year-ender event on December 9 and 10, 2010 in Glendale, Los Angeles! We will provide tips on job interviews and will answer your employment and immigration concerns. Call our office for more information and to RESERVE your seat.
