CSI Goes Forward in 2011

Posted by admin On December - 27 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

This coming 2011, CSI Professionals Inc. will continue its objective of providing service to the concerned public.

To start the New Year, our agency will sponsor FREE seminars, this time in San Francisco, CA on Jan.19-21, 2011; and in Las Vegas, NV on Feb.12-13, 2011, with the aim of targeting more and greater job opportunities for job seekers.

In addition, with our extensive database of candidates and employers, powerful public relations, “personalized marketing” and marketing strategies, we will continue to expedite more job placements.

We will reinforce utilizing our agency’s “search and match” policy which has been proven to understand candidates’ and employers’ needs, thus allowing a custom-match for the most qualified candidates needed by prospective client companies.

The agency’s personal career counseling branch sees to it that job seekers will not be sent to disreputable companies or will not have to fear being harassed with unfair working conditions. As always, visa assistance concerning H1-B, H3 and Labor Certifications needed for work authorization and permanent residency will be processed for qualified applicants, and proper guidance will be given to each case.

Meanwhile, after all of CSI’s successful employment and immigration seminars, workshops and fundraising events this year, we at CSI would like to thank everyone who participated, contributed and supported our events for our clients and community.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our sponsors including Ms. Elaine Palanqui from Panera Bread Café and Ms. Melissa Enriquez Photography and Design (for being the caterer and personal photographer during our events) our guest speakers, affiliates and legal counsels, who have taken part in the success of our company in the past 15 years of our service.

As we approach the coming of 2011, CSI will continue to serve the public better by providing free monthly seminars wherein job interview skills workshops will be offered to our marketing clients, for them to deliver more impressive job interviews, give better performance and most importantly, get faster placements. CSI will also maintain our personal career counseling to the public to discuss clients’ cases and visa options.

With such joy and hope, we can say that CSI is inspired to continue another 15 years (and more!) of serving the public in the fields of employment and immigration.

We hope to see you on Jan. 19-21, 2011 (San Francisco, CA) and on Feb. 12-13, 2011 (Las Vegas, NV). It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the current and important issues on immigration and employment, and at the same time, enhance your job interview skills. Continuing its Stand for the Fil-Am Community

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and for CSI’s Vice-President, this is an issue that is very close to her heart. Thus, it became a need to include this topic in CSI’s October seminar.

Last October 27, a diverse group of new inquiries comprised this seminar’s attendees, holding B1/B2 (tourist), H1B (for transfer), E2 and J1 visas. There were even green card holders looking for more job opportunities related to their professions, since most people who are already in this status resort to taking caregiving positions to sustain their families and even extended families in the Philippines. CSI’s celebration month for 15 years of reputable service and operations was a huge success! Highlights of the festivities include our FREE seminars: a 2-part, 2-episode event which were supported by the following guest speakers and affiliates: Nelson and Associates; Strassburg, Gilmore & Wei, LLP; and MTS Law. They discussed vital information on U.S. immigration and answered our attendees’ questions and concerns about employment and work authorization in the U.S. These Anniversary Seminars were followed by thanksgiving meals that catered to a good number of eager attendees and guests. Our other speakers and sponsors, such as Panera, Melissa Enriquez Photo booth and Total Woman Gym and Day Spa promoted their services as well, on these 2 events.

Backtracking to the other features of this series, the final public seminar for September held on the 24th, ran on rather a more special theme. Unlike the past functions which included inspirational segments namely: the Thanksgiving Mass, Recreational Activity, and Immigration and Job Interview Workshop–the Sept 24, 2010 seminar and workshop focused on “Social Responsibility”. A video was shown to the audience, in the aim of reminding everyone that all of us have problems in life that we have to deal with, with faith and determination; and that there are people out there who are more devastated and in need of help. It might be a challenge in health, a family problem or an economic struggle or what not; but to everything, there is a solution and there are people who are more blessed and who should be able to help. One of the remarkable quotes that we’d like to share with you and which we learned from the video is, “Charity is not measured by the amount or cost; as long as it comes from the heart, help is always GREAT.”

After this segment, the assembly was brought to Panera Bread Cafe for a simple thanksgiving meal with our staff, just like in our other seminars. The attendees, being CSI’s special guests on its anniversary festivities, were truly given the “special treatment” when, while they were dining with our staff, their queries were answered by attorneys, in an open forum set-up.

Another remarkable anniversary event was the recreational activity for the CSI Staff, a “getting-to-know your workmate more activity”,while they partook of their korean barbeque lunch. The program continued with a “risk taking” surprise treat/game where everyone participated. Later on, they were treated to a relaxing massage.

The finale was held last October 1, 2010, when CSI’s marathon of events was closed by a Mini Seminar and Retreat exclusively for the CSI Staff, as prepared by our Vice President, Ms. Marge Ordiales. The Staff was given the chance to recollect their contributions to the company’s growth and also reflect about their lives.

A mixer/talk at Panera Bread and Café succeeded the mini seminar, as CSI continued the presentation on Social Responsibility and supported the cause for Breast Cancer Awareness. The talk was initiated by one of our affiliate partners, Atty. Mary Sanga, who gave an introduction of the H1B Visa and facilitated a panel discussion afterwards. As usual, food and beverage were provided by our sponsor, Panera Bread Cafe. In here, one of our guest speakers, Amanda Cotter, gave a brief introduction about their services and provided one of our guests with a FREE DAY SPA TICKET for 1 week, courtesy of Total Woman Gym and Day Spa.

The celebration was closed by an appreciation speech, which gave recognition to all CSI Staff for preparing and facilitating the successful series of anniversary events.

CSI is thankful to everyone who has been part of its success, especially to those who have been supportive since the beginning.CSI does not forget its roots and humble beginnings, thus, CSI celebrated the event with family and friends on the finale. CSI would like to thank all our sponsors including Panera Bread Cafe & Total Woman Gym and Day Spa of Glendale; and our affiliates and legal counsel who have taken part in the success of all our seminars, and of course, our success as a company in our 15 years of service.

Despite the busy celebration month last September, CSI never gets tired of continuing its pledge for service and sharing information to the public. This time, CSI invites you on October 27 for a Free Coffee Moment: A sit-down discussion on U.S.Employment, Dream Act for Foreign Students and Breast Cancer Awareness. Aside from efforts to continuously serve the public through employment and immigration services, we would also like to give attention to others in need like breast cancer patients. Their struggle to live for their loved ones is in itself a courageous act that all of us should learn from, in appreciating life in general. Be with us in supporting breast cancer patients. This event will be held at our Glendale Branch Office (please call us for more details). Your participation will not only be for your own benefit, but also of the Breast Cancer Society.

With grateful hearts and optimistic minds, CSI is thankful for the public’s trust in all our 15 years in operation; and we are more inspired to serve you better, in the many more years to come. CSI is proud and thankful for having remained to be your number one choice in employment and immigration services.

Getting Better and Going Multi-national!

Entitled: “Bagong Simula; Bagong Ikaw; Bagong Pilipinas”, CSI’s 2-part seminar last July 15 and 16 was well attended not only by Filipinos, but also diverse and multicultural groups–mostly F1 and J1 international students. This was a great way for CSI to reach out to other audiences that may need its service in the aim of providing knowledge and opportunities to immigrant hopefuls in America. Aside from the usual reintroduction of CSI’s scope of services and reports on recent events, additional topics on cultural immersion and U.S. workforce were discussed; and the recently implemented interview simulation workshop was again facilitated for the benefit of CSI’s ongoing marketing clients.
